Yearend Review of 2005

This was another great year. We love our life in Sarasota. It is generally quite relaxed, but spiced up with the right dose of family, friends, hobbies and vacations.

Although Florida was ravaged by many hurricanes, Sarasota and our home was not affected.

We enjoyed interesting vacations to India & Nepal, the west coast and wine country in California, a cruise to 5 Caribbean islands, and a recent trip to Lake Garda and Venice, Italy and our family and friends in Holland, where we celebrated Willem's birthday with his siblings.

We also stayed with our son Mark & his wife Kristine in Minneapolis, where we enjoyed some r&r and landscaping their new home. They celebrated Christmas with us in balmy Sarasota, and escaped the heavy snow and cold in Minnesota.

In between our trips we continue to enjoy our home and life in Sarasota, where we are involved with the arts and culture (Willem at the Art Center and Ringling Museum) and Tina practicing fysio therapy, whenever leisure time allows it.
